About The Position

Shopoff Realty Investments is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join their growing team in Irvine, California. This role involves leading transformative real estate developments from concept to completion, managing projects from acquisition and due diligence through entitlement, design, permitting, construction, and final delivery. The company has over 30 years of experience and a reputation for integrity, vision, and execution. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced real estate development or construction professional to take ownership of high-impact projects while working directly with executive leadership. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the owner's representative and lead projects through every phase of development and construction.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, project management, or a related field
  • Experience managing complex projects through multiple phases of development
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and change management
  • Ability to interpret architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and construction documentation
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, agencies, utilities, and project teams
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities with a solutions-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Business, or a related field
  • Owner/developer-side project management experience
  • Experience with complex residential, mixed-use, infrastructure, commercial, or industrial developments
  • PMP, CCM, LEED, PE, Architect, or California General Contractor license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects from due diligence and pre-development through construction, turnover, and closeout
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and governmental agencies
  • Leading design development, constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost-control initiatives
  • Managing procurement strategies, bid processes, consultant agreements, and construction contracts
  • Evaluating change orders, contractor proposals, claims, and project risk
  • Monitoring construction progress, project quality, and schedule performance
  • Supporting entitlement, permitting, infrastructure, and acquisition activities
  • Providing executive-level reporting and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Driving project delivery while balancing schedule, budget, quality, and investment objectives
