We are seeking a Senior Project Manager in Boston to support a growing portfolio of Life Science projects. This role is ideal for a professional who brings strong project leadership, thrives in client-facing environments, and enjoys guiding sophisticated development projects from early planning through execution. We are looking for someone who brings both technical credibility and high-energy client engagement – someone who can lead complex conversations, build trust quickly, and represent the client’s interests with confidence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience leading life science development or project management assignments
  • Experience as an Owner’s Representative, Development Manager, or Project Manager acting on behalf of owners or investors
  • Strong client engagement skills and executive presence
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism
  • Experience managing projects across pre-development, design, construction and activation.
  • Understanding of project financials, development budgets, cash flow analysis and return metrics.
  • Strong negotiation, organization, communication and analytical thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate or related field
  • Deep understanding of construction documentation, project controls, cost management and development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong judgment and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, and client service

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary client advisor throughout planning, design, and construction
  • Lead project teams through all phases of development, from early planning through occupancy
  • Manage budgets, schedules, project controls, and consultant coordination
  • Oversee strategic planning, design management, procurement, and construction execution
  • Translate complex project information into clear recommendations for client decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with financial goals, timelines, and quality expectations
  • Identify risks early and guide teams toward practical solutions
  • Mentor junior team members while strengthening overall project delivery
  • Support continued business development and long-term client relationships
