About The Position

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead K–12 public school and higher education construction projects. This role involves overseeing ground-up construction, renovations, additions, and campus expansion initiatives. The Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact for owners, school districts, universities, architects, consultants, and subcontractors, managing all aspects of project delivery including team leadership, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The position requires strategic oversight, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes while upholding CPPI's mission, vision, and core values.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with a strong preference for K–12 public school and/or higher education projects.
  • Experience managing ground-up construction, renovations, additions, and campus expansion projects preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and successfully manage project budgets, schedules, quality, and safety.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management for K–12 public school and higher education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for school districts, colleges, universities, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, pay applications, change orders, and cost controls.
  • Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead project meetings, executive updates, and client presentations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Support business development efforts by fostering relationships within the education construction market.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, turnover documentation, warranty management, and owner training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
