The Senior Project Manager will provide overall direction and leadership, and owns project outcomes for significantly complex projects and/or multiple projects. This position will fully implement and manage the operation, profitability and administration of projects. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and participating in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and creating a culture of safety awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. They will investigate safety incidents and retrain staff as needed. This role requires understanding the preconstruction process from conceptual phase through GMP development, completing estimating and productivity analysis, and leading or providing support to senior management for preconstruction discussions with clients. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the project team during the development of preconstruction estimates, identify, understand and actively manage project risks, and assist with the development and management of the project business plan to maximize financial success. They will implement and manage components of the operation and administration of complex and/or multiple construction projects, utilize awareness, experience and knowledge to identify problems and recommend solutions for review and implementation by the team, and manage deliverables provided by a variety of internal resources and functions such as IPS, logistics, self-perform, etc. Additionally, they will engage in business, industry and community activities to build and strengthen external relationships, review and approve expense reports, negotiate project issues including change orders, contingency expenditures and appropriate fee enhancements, and complete scope review and bid analysis, including award of subcontracts. This role also involves collaborating with the marketing team on related presentations and marketing activities, and leading, supporting and promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn, understanding JE Dunn’s policy of non-discrimination and ensuring positive, proactive implementation throughout the organization.
