Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a dynamic clinical research professional to manage the Gastroesophageal cancer (GEC) translational research portfolio led by the Solid Tumor Gastrointestinal (STGI) Oncology service chief. This role involves partnering with leadership to ensure oversight, governance, and management of the research portfolio, supporting the strategic growth of the GEC research program. The Senior Project Manager will provide operational, administrative, regulatory, financial, and project management oversight, as well as project leadership, guidance, and coordination to ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating activities across internal MSK departments (Pathology, Sloan Kettering Institute laboratories) and external collaborators, partners, and vendors. The role also involves coordinating and facilitating meetings, tracking progress, providing direction, and communicating project updates. The Senior Project Manager will serve as a central point of contact for the research portfolio, facilitating communication among clinical, scientific, administrative, and operational teams, and coordinating GEC Research Center Retreats and other strategic program-building activities. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, proactive, adaptable, an excellent communicator, and flexible with communication methods. This role requires flexibility and responsiveness to research needs, including communication outside of standard business hours via email/phone.
