Senior Project Manager/Estimator - Commercial Sitework
About The Position
Meyer Contracting is seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Estimator / Project Manager position on our team. This position's emphasis is earthwork / mass grading. Team Meyer is a civil/sitework contractor based out of Maple Grove, MN who performs Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, Concrete Structures and Foundations operations primarily in the greater Midwest area. Meyer is unique in that we work in both the public and private commercial civil markets. Employees here gain broad and valuable experience in both markets. Requirements
- Experience in Construction software such as: Bluebeam, Agtek, Civil 3D, HCSS, etc.
- 10 years Project Management experience
- Value Engineering experience with design and client teams
- Post-secondary education in construction or engineering related disciplines
- Perform tasks in a detailed and organized manner
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

- Lead value engineering efforts in partnership with clients and architect/engineers
- Utilize take-off and modeling software to provide value to clients and projects
- Problem Solve with project stakeholders to provide cost-effective solutions
- Foster positive work with regional civil engineering firms and third-party testing agencies
- Mentor and/or supervise Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Interns and Field Engineers
- Accurately perform and review quantity take-offs for cost estimates
- Provide effective project management to support our crews, clients and interests
