WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join our high-performing Earth & Environment team based in Madison, Wisconsin . This role is a senior-level seller-doer position that combines technical leadership, complex project delivery, client relationship management, and business development. The successful candidate will lead complex water resources and environmental infrastructure projects, primarily serving industrial and commercial clients across the Upper Midwest. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team delivering environmental assessment, remediation, and water supply projects across the United States. Your Impact Strategic Project Leadership Lead the planning, design, and execution of diverse environmental and water resource projects. Drive strategic planning, resourcing, partnering, and contracting strategies for high-value client engagements. Coordinate with WSP Practice Area Networks and Industrial/Commercial Sector leaders to ensure responsive, high-quality client service. Financial & Resource Management Manage full project lifecycles, including budgets, schedules, contracts, forecasting, and financial performance. Oversee environmental projects including site characterization, remedial design, and preparation of technical reports and documentation. Prepare proposals and contribute to large-scale pursuits by developing scopes of work, task-level budgets, and cost estimates. Maintain strong client relationships while managing multiple concurrent projects. Provide regular workload and resource forecasting reports to regional leadership. Client & Business Development Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Lead pursuit strategies and preparation of winning proposals for new and existing clients. Provide business leadership for environmental remediation, site characterization, and water resources work in collaboration with regional leaders. Team Leadership & Mentorship Directly supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists. Support professional growth through mentoring of early-career and mid-level engineers, geologists, and scientists. Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to WSP Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards and safety plans. Ensure project work complies with all applicable local, state, and feder
