About The Position

Exp Federal is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Construction & Mission Support department. This role involves managing staff augmentation, construction support, and construction management projects, ensuring they adhere to scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards as defined by the contract. The position requires effective coordination, communication, and reporting to government clients and stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Quality Control (QC) plans, safety plans, Property Management systems, and Health & Safety plans, as well as overseeing the creation of project deliverables. Financial reporting, schedule development and monitoring, and daily progress reporting are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the position involves managing diverse staff in remote locations, preparing proposals, developing cost estimates, and directing inspection teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ten years of management experience – related experience preferable with a US Government client or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance.
  • Ability to travel to job sites both domestic and international.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage staff augmentation, construction support and construction management projects to maintain scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality within the purview of the contract.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and report to the Government Client and other Stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, and implement QC plans, safety plans, Property Management systems, Health & Safety plans, and oversee the development of project deliverables.
  • Maintain project financial reporting.
  • Provide inputs to finalize the project plan and adjust for unforeseen events.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules.
  • Complete daily reports on work progress and monitor cost, quality, safety, and schedules.
  • Oversee and manage diverse staff in remote geographical locations.
  • Assist with/prepare written proposals for staff augmentation, construction support and construction management types of projects.
  • Assist with/prepare cost estimates for staff augmentation, construction support and construction management types of projects.
  • Coordinate and direct inspection teams, individuals, subcontractors, and suppliers/vendors.
