About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager, Aviation/Airports to join their team. In this role, the individual will work on one of the busiest airports in the US. The position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team, which focuses on designing and delivering critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities worldwide. Parsons emphasizes collaborative work, planning, designing, building, and modernizing infrastructure, with a focus on projects that improve communities, enhance mobility, and increase sustainability and resiliency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the management of complex terminal projects at large airports and 10+ years of total experience.
  • Five years in a design, construction or project management role for airports of similar scope and size.
  • Expert level project management skills specific to large scale program delivery.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Proven delivery ability.
  • Advanced (degree level) education in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Overall working knowledge of the architectural, engineering and systems elements of airport terminals and support facilities.
  • Demonstrable establishment of collaborative relationships with stakeholders involved in planning, design, construction, testing and turn-over of airport facilities (airport, community and government).
  • Experience in the development of new terminal buildings on existing building sites and/or within highly constrained construction sites is desirable.
  • Professional affiliation/ registration to relevant, internationally recognized authority.

Responsibilities

  • Performance of senior project management services associated with design, construction, commissioning, ORAT and closeout phases of complex terminals and other passenger handling facilities at Domestic and International Airports.
  • Demonstrable experience leading design and/or construction teams in delivery of large, complex terminal building projects and airside projects.
  • Facilitation of collaborative communication between all stakeholders for successful delivery of the project as a part of the overall program.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication between the various project teams, stakeholders and owners’ teams.
  • Provide oversight and management of the scope of work, budget and schedule for the project, including risk and change management.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for management of all contracts associated with the project.
