Your role Lead and manage multidisciplinary airport projects as Design Manager, Technical Lead, and/or Engineer of Record. Collaborate directly with clients on project scope, schedules, budgets, and contract compliance. Lead or contribute to functional planning, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction administration for major airport projects. Coordinate and supervise technical inputs across multiple engineering disciplines. Support aviation business strategy, practice development, and team collaboration across disciplines. Lead or contribute to proposal development and preparation of fee estimates. Mentor junior engineers and technicians while ensuring quality control and technical excellence

Requirements

  • Registered or eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in at least one province in Canada
  • 20+ years of relative experience in airport design engineering (land side, airside or terminal) and 10+ years of experience as a design lead, deputy project manager or project manager.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, office productivity software, and familiarity with CAD and Civil 3D environments.
  • Aptitude for applying Canadian and international airport regulations and design standards, including TP-312, ICAO, FAA, and NavCanada.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments within Canada.

  • CAPM/PMP designation is an asset.
