About The Position

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization supporting the VC-25B program’s Build Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT). BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. Key markets include aeronautics, space and weapons. Core capabilities are in development, production and mission enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. Requirements

3+ experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
3+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data.
3+ years of experience with any of the following: Project/Program Management, Procurement, Supplier Program Management, Engineering, Production Engineering, and/or Supplier Quality
3+ years of experience collaborating with Senior level executives and/or project management and/or complex operations
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Familiarity with aerospace program management processes and terminology.
Experience with Lean, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities processes and tools)

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives.
Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
Ensures the assigned team is executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
Manages Risk, Issues and Opportunities for the assigned projects.
