About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Lead to serve as the primary contractor representative for the Coordinated SECREP Management & Strategic Logistics Services (CSM&SLS) contract supporting the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) in Albany, GA. This is a key personnel position responsible for overall program performance, management of 25+ contract personnel across multiple sites, and direct communication with Government leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-6 years in managing day-to-day functional operations and activities of a contractor workforce supporting military Reparable activities.
  • Minimum 5-6 years in operational planning and execution of inventory management, distribution assistance, stock positioning, and sourcing.
  • Minimum 5-6 years in managing supply and maintenance transactions.
  • Minimum 5-6 years in warehouse management.
  • Minimum 5-6 years in providing technical advice and instruction to personnel.
  • Minimum 3-5 years handling fiscal requirements and functions.
  • Ability to apply relative knowledge to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize/apply solutions.
  • Ability to plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate, both written and orally, to personnel at various status and rank.
  • Minimum of a four (4) year course of study in a relevant field leading to a bachelor's degree, or a combination of successfully completed post-high school education and/or training experiences that meet the total qualification requirements for this position level.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET Level Security Clearance by Day 1.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Marine Corps logistics or SECREP management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with GCSS-MC, APSR, or other Marine Corps systems of record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall responsibility for program performance and contract compliance.
  • Provide management and oversight for at least 25 contract personnel across CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Ensure adequate and qualified staffing for all functions.
  • Maintain close communication with the Government customer to ensure all program objectives are met and all deliverables are timely, of high quality, and of value to the customer.
  • Facilitate program improvements and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver complex support requirements on time and within budget.
  • Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
  • Be available to respond to Government inquiries within one hour of contact between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays.
  • Perform additional duties typical of or related to the Senior Project Lead role.
