As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, AspenTech develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization, and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide. As a Sr Project Engineer, you will be taking care of technical aspects of project delivering for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using Monarch platform for customers across different geographies. You will be managing/supporting a high-performance team and be responsible for design, planning, integration, testing, training, and commissioning of hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications.

Requirements

6+ years of experience, with 2+ years of experience in managing a team.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing and commissioning.
Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation.
Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases and operating systems.
Understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables).

Responsibilities

Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans.
Understand project requirements through interactions with customer & internal stakeholders.
Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
Provide networking and system/application design.
Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.
Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
Provide Subject-matter expert support to Solutions / Proposals team to bring out competitive advantage of AspenTech in tenders.
