As a Sr Project Engineer, you will be taking care of technical aspects of project delivering for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using Monarch platform for customers across different geographies. You will be managing/supporting a high-performance team and be responsible for design, planning, integration, testing, training, and commissioning of hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience, with 2+ years of experience in managing a team.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases and operating systems.
  • Understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables).

Responsibilities

  • Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans.
  • Understand project requirements through interactions with customer & internal stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
  • Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
  • Provide networking and system/application design.
  • Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.
  • Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
  • Provide Subject-matter expert support to Solutions / Proposals team to bring out competitive advantage of AspenTech in tenders.
