About The Position
The Senior Project Engineer will develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and other management tools. This role involves assuming responsibility and communicating effectively with all internal and external customers. There may be more involvement in the entire job cycle on selected small projects, under supervision. Travel is required as needed.
Requirements
- Verification of employment to work in the U.S.
- At least 2-4 years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management is required.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing is required.
- Familiar and comfortable with current technology.
