About The Position
P2S|CMTA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join their team in Long Beach, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position. The role involves providing design, technical, and administrative support throughout project phases and managing project document control.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the construction industry as a project engineer or similar, including major capital projects
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Design-Build experience preferred
- CMAR experience is a plus
- Institutional/Higher Education experience preferred but not required
- CSU experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working for a general contractor on large construction projects is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide design, technical, and administrative support during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases
- Manage project document control, including circulating, receiving, tracking, and maintaining organized files (e.g., plans, meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, schedules, etc.)
- Oversee document management throughout all phases of design development and permitting
