About The Position

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for performing labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance, preparing RFI’s and submittals, quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders. The role also involves creating and implementing job schedules, coordinating with field supervisors and foremen, creating and managing punch lists and job closeout documentation, and supporting the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction management is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships.
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.
• Works well under pressure and deadline.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline.
• Experience managing drywall, metal stud framing, and ACT scopes.
• Mechanical installation and clean room preferred.
• OSHA certification.
• Local to Indianapolis area preferred.
