Martin/Martin is seeking an experienced senior project civil engineer in support of projects in our Albuquerque office. The hired individual will support civil design throughout New Mexico and the Southwest for site and land development. About Martin/Martin, Inc. The Team Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as both the original and reconstructed 16th Street Mall (Denver) and Colorado Convention Center Expansions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
10+ years of progressive civil engineering design experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Mexico (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of start date)
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to work in the Albuquerque area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

Nice To Haves

Experience using AutoCAD/Civil3D to produce civil construction documents
Strong knowledge of working with municipal, commercial, and other related site development projects

Responsibilities

Assists in conceptual design.
Assists in fee determination and proposal preparation.
Fills out Project Setup Forms and reviews/fills out work authorizations.
Establishes a QA/QC plan for each project.
Acts as a mentor for younger engineers and assists with their career development.
Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.
Follows up on collection of account receivables.
