Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls in the field or in a related area
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Accenture requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a regulated utility
  • Proficient users of Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel ((Pivot tables and V-lookups)
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment
  • Good written and oral communications skills with analytical experience

Responsibilities

  • Build good working relationships with the project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost related information
  • Perform the necessary research and assemble all information regarding current cost performances
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations
  • Create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Provide variance reporting and analysis to ensure any deviation from project plan is highlighted, analyzed, and reported as directed
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management
  • Perform budget, financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
  • Maintain management tracking spreadsheets
  • Pull data queries
