About The Position

The Senior Project & Commissioning Engineer is a technical subject matter expert responsible for managing the start-up of an RNG plant from SAT through full commissioning and operational acceptance. This individual will be both customer and internal facing, coordinating the activities of all parties to meet start-up and operational requirements in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This role includes providing leadership and coaching to Engineers and Technicians. The position also involves responsibility for individual skid and Balance of Plant controls support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • 7-10 years of experience with RNG plants in both landfill and biogas settings and/or gas compression and separation equipment and processes in related industries.
  • Experience with RNG equipment design, manufacturing, testing, and startup, including demonstrated experience with full plant operation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills - ability to "think on your feet" and resolve issues in the field in real time.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills and mindset; ability to balance competing interests of customers, contractors, vendors and other parties.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively with other project managers, engineers, and trades.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Able to travel nationwide up to 50%+, including multiple weeks on site as required.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD experience a plus.
  • PMP a plus.
