About The Position

The Project Task Manager provides administrative support for more than 40,000 training activities annually. The selected candidate will serve as the focal point for coordinating daily training requirements and will work closely with PMO liaisons to ensure the timely transfer of mission -essential information, facilitate effective communication, and support the successful execution of program operations. Support a complex program that drives important mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Manager. As a Project/Task Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to our client's training mission. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and communicating a myriad of program essential training requirements to PMO course specific liaison. Track PMO training requirements, provide risk reports, action requirements from GDIT PMO leadership for essential course deliverables. Support Program Director/Senior PM, PMO and client in support of annual training exercises. Knowledge of Customer internal IT systems & Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) Must possess aptitude to interpret areas where functional improvement contributes to program success. The Project/Task Manager must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 5+ years of related experience Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite & Trackvia Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph US citizenship required Role requirements: Client familiarization and the ability to ensure requirements are disseminated to accurately to the course liaison. The position requires the aspirant to ensure appropriate training coordination between Program Director and training requirements.
