About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (Level L) to join the E-7 Air Vehicle Program Management team leading the Wiring Value Stream in Tukwila, WA! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, and/or in Test and Evaluation Leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in partnering with executives to develop and manage data, metrics and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience articulating and implementing strategy-to-action plans
  • 3+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface experience
  • 1+ year of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers
  • 1+ year of experience with Supplier/Contracts/Program Management practices and processes
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional integration of Wiring Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, M&P, MMO, Operations, IP&S, and Finance across the full wiring procurement value stream for USAF and Advanced E-7 offerings.
  • Drive supplier performance to plan by preparing and facilitating weekly program management meetings, monthly business performance reviews, and E-7 program deep dives and non-advocate reviews.
  • Own supplier execution, first-time quality, and on-time delivery of wiring for aircraft modification efforts.
  • Manage supplier baseline and change control processes, and oversee risk, issue, and opportunity management.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to enable alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Apply Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) through regular self-assessments and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools.
  • Foster an inclusive, accountable, and urgent culture that emphasizes team engagement and having fun.
