The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking an innovative, strategic, and highly collaborative Senior Program Manager to join their team of scientists dedicated to advancing cancer prevention, chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and population health research. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact programs that support public health and cancer prevention efforts, collaborate with nationally recognized researchers, healthcare professionals, and community partners, influence strategic initiatives that advance health promotion and scientific discovery, and contribute to a mission-driven environment where leadership creates lasting impact. As a Senior Program Manager for Dr. Michael Businelle’s lab, the individual will manage a portfolio of NIH-funded smoking/alcohol cessation randomized controlled trials (4 currently) that utilize technology (e.g., smartphone applications) to prevent cancer in Oklahoma and across the United States. Responsibilities include managing a large group of research assistants and overseeing day-to-day operations of the lab, including strategic leadership, program development, program and project management, grant and contract management, team leadership and training, and stakeholder and community engagement.
