As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a specific project or program, including leading client relationships to exceed expectations. Candidates are required to reside in the Midwest.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive healthcare project management experience.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure client stakeholders are engaged and satisfied.
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism and performance leading planning, design, pre-construction, contract negotiations, cost control, scheduling, and team coordination activities.
  • Excellent project budgeting, contract negotiations, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities to internal direct reports and external partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, including a thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze data for clients and teams.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive-level external and internal healthcare clients.
  • Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess a proactive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrate knowledge of advanced contracting methods, including IPD and CPD.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office programs, including (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • eBuilder, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet experience is preferred.
  • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding client requirements and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Interact regularly with clients to ensure goals and objectives are established and achieved, and develop/implement action plans to correct variances.
  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Procure, negotiate, execute, administer, and close out contracts accurately, timely, and compliantly.
  • Identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete deliverables to the client and company.
  • Ensure proper utilization of in-house project management tools and provide input on the development of standards.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in the implementation of dashboard reporting tools.
  • Lead by example and model company values, including directly managing and leading project delivery resources/teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project/program outlines, including scope, deliverables, goals, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in creating complete project budgets.
  • Oversee project cost control efforts, quality control, site management, and the preparation of monthly cost control budget reports and invoicing.
  • Provide coordination and leadership for cross-functional project teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate key risks, issues, and dependencies across projects or programs, and recommend actions for successful completion.
  • Provide monitoring and support on program status, key performance indicators, and other metrics to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Conduct regular program reviews with key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Participate in and provide input into the marketing and business development of the company’s program management services, including client presentations and marketing media development.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as they become apparent.
