About The Position

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager (PM) to manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute an enterprise IT services program supporting the U.S. Army National Guard. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and performance objectives and has direct people-management responsibility. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. The Program Manager directs efforts of cross-competency teams including Program Management, Software Engineering, IT Infrastructure and Network Engineering, Enterprise Operations, Enterprise Help Desk, Cybersecurity, Resources Integration, Training, and Innovation. Also serve as the primary liaison and POC with Government representatives on technical and program issues.

Requirements

  • Ten years of senior leadership/program management experience within the last 20 years managing complex DoD IT projects/operations.
  • A minimum of five years of experience implementing project management principles and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents, and tasks through completion.
  • Possess one of the following active certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP).
  • Possess an ITIL v3 Practitioner or ITIL 4 Managing Professional or a higher certification in either category.
  • An active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to project management or IT.
  • Experience effectively directing and managing contract functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks.
  • Possess the appropriate certifications to achieve DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III.
  • Experience with performance-based and award-fee contracts.
  • Experience leading projects with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.
  • Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry best practices, DoD standards, and Army standards.
