SUMMARY: The Senior Program Manager is a high-visibility strategic role responsible for overseeing the execution, tracking, and reporting of AmaWaterways’ Value Creation Plan (VCP) projects and programs. This role serves as the central program hub connecting all VCP workstreams—spanning Brand, Consumer, Market Share, Data & Technology, and People & Talent—to the company’s Long-Range Plan (LRP) targets by 2030. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with experience in private equity portfolio operations, management consulting, or large-scale travel companies, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution across complex, multi-workstream programs, and comfort operating at both the strategic and tactical levels with C-suite and investor audiences. The VCP program contains both technology and non-technology projects. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with (dotted line) to the head of PMO who also reports into the CTO. The Senior Program Manager will assist in the outcome capture and documentation of value creation in order to show progress against the LRP targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in private equity portfolio operations, management consulting, or large-scale travel companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution across complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • Comfort operating at both the strategic and tactical levels with C-suite and investor audiences.
  • Knowledge of Asana including fluency in set up and management of the content ongoing.
  • Ability to effectively use enterprise AI to drive efficiency in reporting out information as well as collecting and validating information.
  • Ability to articulate through powerpoint, word documents, and other digital mediums.

Nice To Haves

  • May manage a program analyst or coordinator as the VCP program office scales.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary program management liaison between AmaWaterways executive leadership and project owners/managers, ensuring alignment on VCP priorities, progress, and escalations.
  • Own the end-to-end VCP program cadence: monthly progress updates, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring all materials are PE & board-ready and data-driven.
  • Maintain the Asana master VCP workstream timeline and initiative tracker across all pillars (Brand, Consumer, Market Share, Data & Technology, People & Talent), proactively identifying dependencies, risks, and blockers.
  • Facilitate VCP steering committee meetings and cross-functional leadership alignment sessions, driving accountability and decision-making.
  • Assist in the outcome capture and documentation of value creation in order to show progress against the LRP targets.
