About The Position

Join the Evidence Optimization Center of Expertise (CoE) to help shape how AI, hyperautomation, and digital capabilities are advanced and embedded across clinical research and medical science (CRMS). As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a key role in enabling organizational change, supporting workforce upskilling, and driving integrated delivery of high‑visibility digital transformation initiatives. The Evidence Optimization CoE is a small but mighty team within Corporate Clinical Research and Medical Science (CRMS). This remote role reports to the Director of the Evidence Optimization CoE and operates in a rapidly evolving space, requiring flexibility as AI capabilities, organizational needs, and transformation priorities continue to mature. The role blends clinical trial expertise with strong project/program management, change management, and collaboration skills, with a focus on helping people and teams successfully advance and embed new ways of working. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in clinical research, including program or project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives (or advanced degree with 5+ years)
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

  • Experience leading enterprise or cross-functional programs related to digital transformation, AI, hyperautomation, or technology-enabled change.
  • Demonstrated success in change management and organizational adoption initiatives, including driving cultural change and new ways of working.
  • Understanding of, or interest in learning about, AI-driven workforce implications and skill development strategies.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Experience communicating strategy, vision, and progress to senior leaders and diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, including comfort learning new concepts, experimenting with new approaches, and continuously improving ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Provide integrated, program‑level leadership for a portfolio of digital transformation initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and value realization across multiple, independent digital transformation projects to ensure alignment to strategic goals and timelines.
  • Lead the people and change dimension of the integrated digital transformation program, aligning project leaders, program managers, and change representatives to drive adoption, culture change, and new ways of working across teams and functions.
  • Support the development and communication of CRMS’s digital transformation and AI strategy and initiatives, including preparing executive‑level presentations, messaging, and materials for leadership reviews and report‑outs.
  • Guide role evolution and upskilling strategies related to AI adoption, aligning skill development efforts with emerging ways of working and transformation goals.
  • Coordinate and influence cross‑program and cross‑functional contributors, clarifying expectations, decision points, and dependencies to enable effective execution.
  • Manage program risks, issues, and tradeoffs; escalate and resolve as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, using feedback and insights to continuously improve program execution and change effectiveness.
