About The Position

MELE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Management Analyst to support the NA-90 Office of the Chief of Staff. This position serves as support to senior leadership, providing strategic planning, program management, executive communications, and organizational coordination support across a portfolio of high-priority initiatives. The selected candidate will operate in a fast-paced federal environment and work directly with senior executives, federal program managers, and stakeholders across the NNSA enterprise to drive mission execution, improve organizational effectiveness, and support leadership decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated experience managing complex projects, developing executive-level products, and leading cross-functional coordination efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, project management, or government support
  • Experience using the eDocs system
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Demonstrated experience preparing briefings, reports, and presentations for senior audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, execution, and monitoring of high-visibility initiatives supporting NA-90 leadership priorities
  • Support the development and implementation of project management strategies, schedules, milestones, performance measures, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Recommend and support innovative approaches to enhance organizational effectiveness, project execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information sharing
  • Maintain centralized management of official correspondence requiring the review of DOE/NNSA’s senior leadership. This includes eDOCS, directives, audits, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases. No expectation for sub-offices to have these functions within them
  • Develop written testimony and oral statements for senior NA-90 officials for events such as congressional hearings, and collaborate with the NA-90 offices to ensure consistency
  • All other duties as assigned
