Senior Program Governance & Compliance Manager

EverpureSanta Clara, CA
$182,000 - $273,000

About The Position

We are seeking a disciplined, systems-thinker to own the operating model that holds the Global Partner Program Center of Excellence together. This role is the backbone of how Everpure’s partner programs function at scale — ensuring that every program element is governed consistently, compliance is enforced rigorously, and the policies that guide exception decisions are clear, documented, and applied uniformly. As Senior Program Governance & Compliance Manager, you will define and maintain the frameworks, policies, and processes that enable the rest of the program team to operate with discipline and confidence. You will not own readiness for each program area — that accountability sits with each program lead — but you will own the governance structure that ensures readiness is defined, measurable, and enforced. You will work closely with the Resale, Managed Service, and Distribution program leads, as well as Channel Ops, Finance, Legal, and Sales leadership to ensure the partner program operates as a unified, compliant, and auditable system. This role operates within the overall Global Partner Program Center of Excellence and is expected to operate as part of a coordinated system, not an independent program. You will be accountable for the governance structure and processes that enable consistent and scalable program execution. While you will manage the exception intake, review, and tracking process, final approval authority for program exceptions resides with the Director, Partner Program.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in channel programs, partner operations, or compliance within a technology company
  • Proven experience building governance frameworks, compliance processes, or operating models in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Strong understanding of channel program structures, partner compliance dynamics, and exception management
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to design policies that are clear, consistent, and auditable
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to create structure and discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Channel Ops, and Sales
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional program documentation
  • Ability to hold others accountable to standards while maintaining strong working relationships
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced technology company where ambiguity is common and execution discipline is critical

  • Own the program exception management process, including defining criteria, managing intake and review workflows, and ensuring decisions are documented and tracked. Facilitate decision-making, with final approval authority held by the Director, Partner Programs.
  • Analyze exception trends and identify systemic issues, providing recommendations to program leads and the Director, Partner Program to improve program design and reduce exception volume
  • Drive the program operating cadence including planning cycles, program reviews, and cross-functional alignment forums

  • Own the design and maintenance of all partner program policies, including eligibility, tier transitions, exception rules, and enforcement guidelines
  • Establish and maintain the single source of truth for all program documentation, requirements, and policies across the Center of Excellence
  • Ensure all program documentation is current, accessible, and clearly written for internal and external audiences
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies across program policies and drive resolution in collaboration with program leads
  • Define and maintain the program launch readiness framework — the gate criteria, checklist, and review process that each program lead is accountable for completing before any program change goes live
  • Conduct pre-launch governance reviews with each program lead to confirm readiness criteria have been met
  • Document launch reviews and maintain a record of readiness confirmations and approvals
  • Continuously improve the readiness framework based on lessons learned from each program launch
  • Ensure readiness standards are consistently applied across all program areas, while program leads remain accountable for meeting those requirements
  • Serve as the program team’s primary liaison on governance and compliance matters with Legal, Finance, Channel Ops, and Sales leadership
  • Provide regular reporting on governance health, compliance status, and exception trends to program leadership
  • Support audit and regulatory inquiries related to partner program compliance as needed
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline governance processes without sacrificing rigor
