Requirements

  • BA/BS degree plus 5 years of related experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have Microsoft office experience (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL), and computer skills/aptitude to use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • An active secret clearance is required.
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Expert analysis, research, computer application processing (including NAVY ERP/SAP, SAMS, SABER, NST, AMSRR, RAMP, NATEC, and DECKPLATE), and the preparation of vital documentation such as formal letters and Naval Message traffic.

  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all applicable correspondence.
  • Acts as the main liaison between the TYCOM, program office, contractors, suppliers, and FRC on matters related to the SLM program.
  • Maintains strong working relationships with NAE stakeholders to ensure SLM scheduling meets fleet replacement requirements.
  • Forecasts aircraft requiring Planned Depot Maintenance and Service Life extensions to support F/A-18E/F and EA-18G inventory requirements.
  • Plan future PMI and SLM inductions with Type Wings, PMA 265, FRCs, and Boeing.
  • Coordinates with PMA-265 and Aircraft Reporting Custodians for future PMI and Operating Period SLM aircraft flow.
  • Track PMI, Modification, and SLM program/project status and schedules.
  • Review, update, and track the Life Remaining of all aircraft.
  • Manage aircraft currently in PMI, MOD, and SLM flow to ensure all Government Furnished Equipment is provided to meet production requirements.
  • Track life-limited repair messages (LLRM) by specific BuNo to ensure safe flight to induction sites.
  • Update aircraft status reports as necessary.
  • Continually assess all Technical Directives (TDs) to align current and future program requirements.
  • Plan, initiate, and participate in PMI, MOD, and SLM requirements planning meetings and Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Create status follow-ups, presentations, and reports.
