Requirements

Prior supervisory experience in a similar role.
Three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with previous multi-line responsibility.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Collaborate and lead in a positive manner, no human wreckage.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
Experience using procurement, operations, and ERP software preferred.
Prior experience in improving operational processes and LEAN methodology.

Responsibilities

Manage staffing, orientation, training, and team member development for employees on multiple product lines.
Developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; and meeting on-time delivery.
Maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure manufacturing requirements are met while minimizing costs.
Planning departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Ensures manufacturing team enforce Company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety policies, and employee rules of conduct.
Interviewing, hiring, training, terminating, disciplining, and coaching employees.
Able to motivate employees to achieve results. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the work environment and supporting the Company vision.
Customer centric (internal and external). High Service oriented. Driving a culture of Zero Safety Incidents.
Use data, Lean tools, Root Cause Analysis or GMPs to develop implement and implement effective corrective actions.
