About The Position

The Senior Production Specialist supports residential and commercial door manufacturing by operating CNC routers and conventional machinery, including lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill sharpeners, CNC/Komo machines, and Kval door machinery. The role includes selecting machine programs from production tags, inspecting and maintaining equipment, preparing and handling materials, and performing general warehouse duties as needed. Team members follow safety procedures, maintain an orderly work area, and report defective materials or questionable conditions. The position requires concentration around high-speed cutting and milling equipment, mathematical calculations, and the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Previous manufacturing or similar experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally team-lift items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and read and understand technical drawings.
• Ability to maintain focused concentration around high-speed cutting and milling equipment.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers for residential and commercial door manufacturing.
• Operate conventional machines, including lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill sharpeners, CNC/Komo machines, and Kval door machinery.
• Read production tags and select the appropriate machine program.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, following prescribed safety rules.
• Routinely check machine setup, tooling, and calibration for routing doors and door components.
• Perform a preventative maintenance inspection at the start of the shift.
• Prepare and handle materials.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
