About The Position
As a Senior Production Planner at Honeywell Aerospace, you will optimize manufacturing processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality in an advanced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Director Materials Management, you will work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. You will develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer needs while minimizing costs and downtime, contributing to the productivity and efficiency of manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in production planning tools and software, such as MRP or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Must be a U.S. person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience in production scheduling, planning, and materials management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with supply chain capabilities.
- Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to meet changing demands.
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS), aligning it with demand and capacity.
- Review weekly metrics and ensure adherence to goals.
