About The Position

Boeing’s Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Production Operations Specialist in El Segundo, California. This position is hybrid, meaning the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor)
Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
10+ years’ experience as an ITAR Technical Sub-Contracts Manager of HiRel Avionics fabrication
5+ years’ experience assessing outside supplier’s Electromagnetic Interference compliance
Travel up to 10%

3 years’ experience using 3DX and Team Center formal drawing release systems
3 years’ experience managing Inter Company Material Transfers (ICMT)
1 years’ experience with CAPRS purchase contract system

Responsibilities

Manage multiple printed wiring board suppliers, sub-tier EEE parts component suppliers, and Boeing furnished materials for on-time delivery of circuit boards that meet Program requirements for Human-rated Space.
Track the flow of material across Suppliers, Boeing Receiving, Government Property, and final allocation to unit builds and Acceptance Testing.
Ensure Supplier fabrication lines meet program Environmental Standards and required NASA standards directing Boeing EEE Parts, Manufacturing and Production, and Subject Matter Experts line certification efforts.
Manage the flow of materials through unit build, Acceptance Testing, As-build/As-designed documentation, assembly of Acceptance Packages, Acceptance Reviews, and DD-1149/DD-250 unit acceptance by the Government Customer.
