About The Position

The Senior Product Owner will drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery for technology initiatives within the financial services ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader with experience supporting product development in financial technology, banking, payments, trading, lending, wealth/asset management, or other financial domains. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer and advisor experiences, and support the organization’s digital transformation goals.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
  • Strong background in financial technology, including any of the following areas: Banking or digital banking, Payments or money movement, Trading or investment operations, Lending or credit systems, Financial data platforms or integrations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial workflows, customer lifecycle, or operational processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting financial products.
  • Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or similar.
  • Experience with API-driven platforms, data integrations, or cloud-based financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and long-term direction aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure delivery of high-value features.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with business, technology, operations, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Support initiatives across any financial domain such as payments, trading, lending, digital banking, risk, compliance, or investment operations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product increments and remove impediments in partnership with engineering.
  • Use KPIs, analytics, and customer insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure product solutions adhere to industry regulations and security standards.
