About The Position

As a Senior Product Owner, you will help shape the future of our insurance solutions by connecting business strategy with technology execution. You'll partner with business leaders, customers, and Agile development teams to transform complex challenges into products that deliver measurable value. As the insurance industry rapidly evolves through data, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, you will play a key role in bringing innovative ideas to market and ensuring our solutions continue to meet the changing needs of carriers and policyholders. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
5 plus years of Product Owner or Product Management experience with demonstrated success in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience in insurance technology or enterprise software with the ability to understand complex business processes and customer needs.
Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into product roadmaps, user stories, and measurable business outcomes.
Strong product backlog management skills with experience prioritizing work based on customer value, ROI, and technical feasibility.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence technical teams, customers, and senior business leaders.
Analytical mindset with experience using data and customer feedback to drive product decisions.
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, curiosity, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, global environment while leading through influence rather than authority.

Nice To Haves

Deep domain expertise in Disability Claims or Life, Health & Annuity (LHA) insurance products, claims operations, and business processes.
Experience delivering digital claims, policy administration, or insurance core platform solutions.
Experience leveraging or defining AI-enabled, automation, or intelligent workflow capabilities to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Management and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into a clear product roadmap and actionable user journeys that solve real customer challenges.
Balance immediate business needs with long-term product evolution while identifying opportunities through customer feedback, market trends, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven capabilities.
Serve as a trusted advocate for the product, confidently communicating direction, priorities, and value to internal and external stakeholders.
Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that keep development teams positioned for success.
Establish release, PI, and sprint priorities while removing obstacles and maintaining alignment across cross-functional teams.
Work closely with engineering and quality teams to deliver high-quality product increments that improve customer outcomes and business value.
Serve as the primary connection between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomes.
Validate delivered functionality against business requirements while championing intuitive, customer-centered experiences.
Use product performance metrics, analytics, customer insights, and evolving technology trends to continuously refine priorities and inform future development.
