About The Position

They are seeking a Senior Product Operations Specialist to join their Product Center of Excellence. This role is crucial in defining and maintaining how products are built across the organization, focusing on evolving the Product Teams’ toolkit, which includes standards, templates, and operating rhythms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development cycles, possess excellent judgment, and be proficient in modern product tools. Requirements

  • 3+ years in product management, product ops, program management, or a similar role
  • Lived experience with how product gets shipped — discovery, planning, specs, launches
  • A point of view on what makes product orgs work well, and what gets in the way
  • Strong written communication — you'll be writing standards, documenting practices, and synthesizing findings
  • Comfortable working with data when it's helpful: pulling numbers, reading a dashboard, drawing reasonable conclusions
  • Operational rigor: the things you own run reliably, on cadence, without dropping
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Amplitude, or Coda specifically

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating templates, playbooks, or standards for a team
  • Familiarity with product artifacts — PRDs, roadmaps, decision docs
  • Built dashboards or done analysis work in product analytics tools
  • Built templates or automations in a docs or workflow tool

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve the toolkit of artifacts product teams use to ship work — PRDs, discovery, decision docs, launch and post-launch reviews
  • Support the operating rhythm of the product organization, including planning cycles, team rituals, and cross-functional alignment
  • Drive rollouts of new standards and ways of working, including piloting, change communication, and adoption support
  • Pay attention to how the practice is landing across teams and surface where teams are drifting from the standard
  • Contribute to and maintain a centralized product operations knowledge base
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and act as a day-to-day point of contact for practice questions
