About The Position

SoSafe is transitioning to a segment-led Go-To-Market (GTM) model, and this role is crucial to that shift. As the Manager of Segment & Solutions Marketing, you will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and solution architecture for SoSafe's key segments. These segments can be defined by various factors such as geography, industry vertical, customer lifecycle stage, or Human Risk maturity. The company has a foundational maturity model that outlines how organizations progress in their Human Risk journey and a growing understanding of customer needs across different lifecycle stages and priority markets. However, there is a need to develop specific messaging, go-to-market plays, and product experience layers to effectively serve these segments. The primary goal of this role is to translate these efforts into measurable improvements in win rates, market penetration, and net revenue retention. This is a new position within Product Marketing that offers the opportunity to shape its direction and involves close collaboration with GTM, Product, Sales, Customer Success (CS), and the Commercial Centre of Excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS in product marketing, solutions marketing, or segment marketing with a proven track record of producing segment-specific or lifecycle-specific positioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to write in buyer language: situation, problem, solution, outcome – not functional feature lists.
  • Proficiency with competitive intelligence tools and a bias towards activating insight into sales & field-facing content.
  • Proven AI fluency: daily use of AI tools to compress research cycles, pressure-test messaging, generate content variations, and move from insight to asset faster.
  • Strong cross-functional operating skills, able to align Product, Sales, CS, and Commercial stakeholders around a segment strategy and drive execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity, HR tech, or a similarly technical B2B environment.
  • Experience defining or contributing to solution sets and commercial packaging, not just messaging deliverables.
  • Background in structured pre-launch validation: rep councils, messaging test sessions, early cohort feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging for defined priority segments, including lifecycle stage (new business, upsell, cross-sell, retention), maturity tier, geography, and industry vertical.
  • Develop segment-specific value propositions written in buyer language, focusing on their situation, consequences of inaction, how SoSafe solves their problems, and why SoSafe is the preferred choice over alternatives.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, messaging iteration, persona development, and competitive analysis.
  • Maintain and evolve messaging in response to product capability changes, customer insights, and shifts in the competitive landscape to ensure SoSafe's market fit remains current and differentiated.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to proactively inform segment strategy and portfolio planning.
  • Define solution sets for priority segments, identifying which SoSafe capabilities best address their most pressing needs, framed around business outcomes.
  • Incorporate voice-of-customer research, win/loss data, competitive intelligence, and regulatory context into compelling segment narratives and solution architectures.
  • Partner with the Commercial CoE to inform pricing, packaging, bundling, and program decisions, providing market and segment evidence to support commercial recommendations.
  • Develop SPICED-aligned talk tracks for each priority segment to guide sales conversations.
  • Build and maintain a library of scalable, reusable field assets such as solution briefs, demo scripts, battle cards, objection-handling guides, and buyer/implementation guides, leveraging AI for efficient production and iteration.
  • Validate messaging and demo content before market release through structured feedback sessions with sales representatives, customer interviews, and early cohort exposure.
  • Input into coordinated multi-touch plays across Marketing, Sales, and CS to drive upsell and cross-sell within the existing customer base, with clear pipeline and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) impact metrics.
  • Track asset utilization, field feedback, and segment performance data (win rates, pipeline velocity, NRR contribution) to continuously improve GTM effectiveness and demonstrate commercial impact.
