About The Position

Freehand is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Marketing to own positioning, pricing, launches, and sales enablement as they expand into new spend categories. This role will define the narrative, shape how the product is priced and packaged, manage launches, and arm the sales team to win as the AI Team grows from freight and logistics into new categories across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include owning Freehand's core positioning and narrative, defining the go-to-market strategy for new spend categories and expansion motions, developing pricing and packaging strategies in partnership with product, finance, and sales, tracking competitive landscapes, and creating sales enablement materials such as battlecards and objection handling guides. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with events, growth, and marketing teams for market presence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product marketing, owning positioning, launches, pricing/packaging, and sales enablement for a technical, enterprise product.
  • Experience partnering directly with product, sales, finance, and executive leadership to launch new products or categories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • A track record of launching new products or expanding into new markets at a fast-growing company.
  • Experience shaping pricing and packaging for a technical or outcome-based product.
  • Experience building sales enablement materials that measurably moved win rates or deal velocity.
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage environment without an inherited playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Own Freehand's core positioning and narrative, differentiating an AI Team from an AI tool.
  • Own go-to-market for new spend categories and expansion motions, turning the roadmap into launch plans and messaging that drive adoption.
  • Partner with product, finance, and sales to price and package Freehand as it expands, translating outcome-based value into models understandable to a CFO.
  • Track the competitive landscape (legacy BPOs, point-solution AI tools, emerging agentic startups) and translate insights into positioning and battlecards.
  • Arm sales with necessary materials like battlecards, objection handling, and category-specific pitches.
  • Partner with events, growth, and marketing on market presence as the company scales.
