Taxo•New York, NY
•$170,000 - $210,000•Onsite

About The Position

As our Senior Product Manager, you’ll bring deep clinical and EHR knowledge into the decisions that shape Taxo. You’ll understand how care teams actually work, identify where automation can help, and turn that insight into products engineers can build and customers can use. This role is for someone who can move comfortably between a clinical workflow, an EHR integration, and a product decision.

Requirements

  • Deep, firsthand knowledge of clinical workflows and day-to-day EHR use, demonstrated through healthcare software you have shipped with clinicians and practice teams.
  • Experience delivering healthcare software from discovery through adoption, with concrete examples of workflow exceptions you addressed, integration tradeoffs you made, and measurable adoption or operational outcomes.
  • The ability to map complex workflows, identify exceptions, and explain tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical colleagues.
  • Practical understanding of EHR capabilities, integration constraints, data quality, and patient privacy, grounded in product decisions you have made.
  • Strong prioritization and analytical skills, with a track record of using customer feedback and product data to make decisions.
  • Comfort working closely with engineers and taking ownership of the details needed to get a product into use.

Nice To Haves

  • A clinical, clinical informatics, or healthcare operations background
  • Hands-on EHR implementation or integration experience
  • Familiarity with HL7/FHIR, conversational AI, or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time with clinicians, practice teams, and healthcare operators to understand their workflows, bottlenecks, and exceptions.
  • Own product discovery, roadmap priorities, requirements, and acceptance criteria for AI-powered administrative workflows.
  • Translate complex clinical and operational processes into clear product requirements and release plans, with measurable acceptance criteria for engineering and quality teams to validate.
  • Work closely with engineering on EHR integrations, data flows, workflow dependencies, and human handoffs.
  • Define success measures for adoption, task completion, reliability, and time saved, then use evidence to guide iteration.
  • Turn clinic rollout feedback into reusable product improvements.
  • Partner with the implementation team, which owns customer-specific rollout plans, training, user acceptance testing coordination, and go-live readiness.

Benefits

  • Health coverage
