About The Position

GiveCampus is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own GC Events end-to-end, from product strategy and discovery through execution, launch readiness, adoption, operations, and third-party vendors and integrations. GC Events supports event registration, ticketing, and auctions for schools and is a revenue-generating product with significant growth potential. The role is accountable for the product contribution to commercial outcomes, including a goal of delivering 10x revenue growth by the end of 2027. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with a dedicated GTM Lead, who is the commercial counterpart and shares accountability for the commercial result. The PM leads product and build work while collaborating with the GTM Lead on the work required to build, launch, sell, and grow the product. The role calls for unusually close engagement with school partners and fundraisers, including direct conversations and in-person event observation. The PM develops and refines the roadmap with input from partners and customer-facing teams, makes prioritization decisions, and leads the execution loop across functions. They use AI throughout their workflow and consider how AI can create user value in the product itself. The role requires hands-on building and prototyping where useful, sound technical judgment, urgency, and ownership of measurable outcomes. This is a remote-first role based in the U.S. Team members are expected to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsites throughout the year. The position reports to the Head of Product and works with the GTM Lead, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Partner Operations, Partner Success, Marketing, Business Development, and Business Operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience.
  • Experience independently managing complex, technical products from 0-to-1 through meaningful scale in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of owning commercial outcomes, not only leading product launches or shipping features.
  • Experience concepting, prototyping, testing, and validating ideas with real users; ability to distinguish customer requests from underlying needs.
  • Ability to make and defend data-informed decisions, conduct analyses independently, and make progress when data is limited.
  • Experience using AI across the PM workflow, including research synthesis, analysis, drafting, prototyping, and experimentation.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Figma Make, or similar to create working prototypes; ideally, experience shipping a fix, experiment, or companion app that solved a real problem.
  • Ability to reason about AI as a product capability, including appropriate use cases, core-flow integration, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Technical fluency in software architecture, security, data modeling, and integrations, with an ability to engage in technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Experience leading and continuously improving product execution, including sprint planning, standups, refinement, retrospectives, resource allocation, and roadmap execution.
  • Experience partnering with GTM, sales, customer success, and marketing counterparts to advance commercial outcomes.
  • Strong listening, collaboration, curiosity, ownership, accountability, urgency, and judgment; ability to work independently and operate effectively in ambiguity.
  • Passion for advancing the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education, and empathy for partner schools, fundraisers, and donors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AI-powered tools to ship a fix, experiment, or companion app that solved a real problem.
  • Experience with products involving event registration, ticketing, or auctions is not explicitly stated as a requirement or preference.

Responsibilities

  • Own GC Events end-to-end, including product strategy, discovery, execution, shipping quality and velocity, launch readiness, adoption, operations, and relevant vendors and integrations.
  • Co-own the GC Events commercial key result with the GTM Lead and be accountable for the product contribution to commercial outcomes.
  • Work closely with the GTM Lead to ensure the product is built, shipped, positioned, sold, adopted, and delivering commercial results.
  • Engage deeply with partner schools and fundraisers through direct conversations and in-person observation of events; understand customer needs, satisfaction, churn risk, and important deals.
  • Develop and continuously refine the GC Events roadmap with input from partners and customer-facing teams.
  • Make product prioritization and delivery decisions, including determining what to build, cut, and ship.
  • Determine how AI should be used in the product and in product development, including selecting suitable problems, integrating AI into core flows, and considering human-in-the-loop approaches.
  • Use AI tools for research synthesis, data analysis, drafting, prototyping, experimentation, and shipping; build or contribute fixes, experiments, and companion apps when appropriate.
  • Lead and improve the full execution loop, including sprint planning, standups, refinement, retrospectives, resource allocation, and roadmap execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Partner Operations, Partner Success, Marketing, Business Development, Business Operations, and the GTM Lead.
  • Maintain a fast pace, make timely decisions, and set an urgent execution tone for the team.
