Job Summary The Team Product Management or PDM - To stay ahead of the curve, it’s critical to know where the curve is and how to anticipate the changes we’re facing. For the fastest-growing cybersecurity company, the curve is the evolution of cyberattacks and the products and services that proactively address them. Our Product Management team helps us do just that. This team provides the behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information for our Systems Engineers, staying on top of the environment we sell in and helping to implement technical solutions based on our clients' feedback and needs. As threats and technology evolve, we stay ahead to accomplish our mission. Job Summary As the Product Manager for Platformization of Cloud Delivered Security Services (CDSS), you will play a key role in driving effective security outcomes and simplifying operations for customers. The charter includes combining numerous products and services into a unified and streamlined management and operation experience, delivering adding native integrations that make each component stronger than a corresponding “best-of-breed” point product and creating great user experiences that increase productivity, radically simplify operations, and improve security outcomes. Your responsibilities will include defining and delivering the overall Platformization Roadmap, defining sophisticated frameworks to prioritize new capabilities, bringing in insights from customers and threat landscape and measuring ROI for new features. This role will need both - strong product management skills and deep technical curiosity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience with either a bachelor's in engineering or equivalent
  • 1+ years as a product manager in one of the following domains is highly preferred: security, cloud delivery, networking.
  • Experience with AI and leveraging AI tools
  • Deliver high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with networking.
  • Track record creating products from concept to market success.
  • Strong focus on end-user experience, customer workflows
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cloud security will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with modern product development lifecycles and utilizing AI tools for product definition, telemetry synthesis, and workflow optimization.
  • Proven experience building and scaling Product-Led Growth (PLG) motions, including in-app onboarding, self-service expansion, and usage-based growth levers

Responsibilities

  • Pivot product strategy to capture expansion across segments through ELAs, strategic bundling, and frictionless a la carte offerings.
  • Extend platform availability by deploying in new regions, vendor clouds (e.g., OCI, Azure), enhance resiliency through multi region and multi cloud failover.
  • Modernize core engine architecture to manage content growth, increase velocity of new threat detections and improve device performance.
  • Drive creation and adoption of agentic AI workflows for adoption of threat protection across CDSS products.
  • Fulfill government and contractual mandates, including key milestones of FedRAMP Mod, High and IL5, essential for accessing government and high-security enterprise markets.
  • Guarantee data sovereignty.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment, driving clarity and alignment with minimal direction.
  • Own the CDSS cloud strategy product area in CDSS to build a world-class analytics framework for CDSS product adoption.
  • Work in lockstep with GTM and Product Marketing (PMM) to develop high-conversion sales plays, pricing strategies, and launch plans that translate new capabilities into quantifiable customer value.
  • Drive capability integration and cross-functional engagements across product lines (NGFW, Prisma Access, SASE, and CDSS) to create an absolute customer preference for Palo Alto Networks.
