About The Position

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the heart of Ncontracts' next-generation TPRM platform: the core risk management capabilities that community banks and credit unions rely on to assess, manage, and monitor their vendor relationships. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who brings strong product fundamentals, deep familiarity with risk and compliance workflows, and genuine excitement about rebuilding a mature problem space from the ground up with an AI-first strategy. You'll define how financial institutions conduct inherent and residual risk assessments, manage the full vendor lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, extract and act on contract intelligence, and generate the reporting and insights that drive program decisions. This is not a feature-maintenance role — It’s a greenfield build, and you'll be making foundational decisions about how these capabilities work in an AI-native context. You'll work closely with a talented, collaborative product team and be expected to contribute beyond your immediate ownership, pairing with peers on horizontal capabilities like document intelligence and evidence collection, engaging directly with customers, and helping raise the overall quality of product thinking on the team. Equally important: you're AI-forward. You actively use and experiment with AI-powered tools - Claude Code, Replit, Devin, Cursor, and whatever comes next — and you bring genuine curiosity about how these tools change what's possible for a product manager and the products you build.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning meaningful product areas end-to-end
  • Strong product management foundation — You write crisp PRDs, run tight discovery cycles, prioritize with discipline, and communicate decisions clearly up and down the organization
  • Data-driven and analytical — You define success metrics before you build, instrument your features thoughtfully, and use data to drive prioritization and iteration
  • Customer discovery skills — You have a genuine habit of talking to customers, not just when required. You know how to run a good discovery interview and how to turn what you hear into product decisions
  • AI/ML product experience — You have shipped or meaningfully contributed to AI or ML-powered features, and you understand the unique challenges of building products where the output is probabilistic
  • AI-forward mindset — You actively use AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Replit, Devin, Cursor, or similar) in your own workflow and are excited about their implications for how product gets built
  • Excellent communication skills — You write and speak clearly, adapt your message to your audience, and can represent your product confidently with customers and executives alike

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end assessment experience across inherent risk, residual risk, and due diligence workflows. Define how AI accelerates and augments the assessment process - from auto-populating risk scores based on collected evidence to surfacing gaps and recommending follow-up actions — while preserving the auditability and examiner-readiness that financial institutions require.
  • Build and evolve the full vendor lifecycle in NextGen: onboarding, periodic review, ongoing oversight, and offboarding. Define the workflows, automation opportunities, and exception-based management model that allows risk teams to scale their programs without scaling headcount.
  • Own the product strategy for how we ingest, classify, and extract intelligence from vendor contracts.
  • Define the reporting and analytics experience that gives risk officers, compliance teams, and executives the visibility they need across their vendor portfolio. Build toward a "manage by exception" model where AI surfaces what matters rather than requiring users to hunt for it.
  • Across all of the above, lead the thinking on where AI creates genuine leverage — automated control assessments, intelligent prioritization, anomaly detection, narrative generation — and where human judgment must remain in the loop. Be the standard-bearer for what AI-native TPRM actually means in practice.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver with quality and speed. Contribute to horizontal PRDs that span TPRM modules — including document intelligence and external risk signals — and require tight coordination across the team.
  • Maintain a continuous cadence of customer engagement with community banks and credit unions. Bring the voice of the customer into every prioritization discussion and use data and qualitative research together to make confident product decisions.
