About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product roadmap and requirements definition for our OffenderWatch portfolio. This role involves translating business strategy into a clear roadmap, managing the full requirements process from discovery to acceptance, and leading cross-departmental launch readiness. You will implement and maintain prioritization frameworks, track product success metrics, and integrate generative AI tools like Claude into the product management lifecycle. A key aspect of this role is ensuring AI use complies with security policies and data-handling rules, particularly within the criminal justice domain.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment.
Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of multiple products or modules simultaneously.
Proven ability to own and communicate a product roadmap in a resource-constrained environment.
Strong requirements discipline: writing clear user stories, conducting effective discovery, understanding vague requirements lead to defects.
Experience leading cross-functional launch readiness processes (Sales, Customer Success, Support).
Comfort operating in a company with maturing product management processes; experience building or improving PM practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on experience using generative AI tools such as Claude in day-to-day product work, with concrete examples of improved speed or quality.
Familiarity with compliance-driven product requirements (CJIS, FedRAMP, SOC 2, ADA/accessibility).
Proven ability to evaluate compliance impact before a product ships.

Nice To Haves

Experience with government or public sector software, or other highly regulated vertical SaaS environments.
Experience working alongside a founder in a hands-on product leadership role.
Exposure to AI/ML feature development and the product challenges of bringing AI capabilities to non-technical end users.
Experience building Claude skills, MCP connectors, or agent workflows, or rolling out AI tools across a team with training and adoption support.
Proficiency with product management tooling (Jira, Productboard, Aha!, or similar) and ability to implement consistent tool usage.

Responsibilities

Maintain and communicate a clear, prioritized product roadmap across OffenderWatch's full portfolio of products.
Manage a product portfolio with a focus on platform modernization and technical debt.
Translate business strategy, customer feedback, and market intelligence into a coherent roadmap.
Balance near-term delivery commitments against longer-term strategic initiatives.
Own the full requirements process from discovery through acceptance, including user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and edge case documentation.
Conduct structured discovery with customers, Law Enforcement Liaisons, and internal stakeholders to validate requirements.
Maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog for engineering teams.
Lead product launch planning, ensuring Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Operations are prepared.
Define and own the organizational "definition of done".
Conduct structured post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and inform future prioritization.
Implement and maintain a clear, consistent prioritization framework.
Facilitate product council or prioritization forums for stakeholder input.
Communicate roadmap decisions, including what is not being prioritized and why.
Define and track product success metrics beyond delivery velocity.
Use a data-informed mindset for prioritization decisions.
Integrate generative AI tools like Claude into each stage of the product management lifecycle.
Build and maintain reusable AI workflows, skills, and prompt standards connected to relevant tools.
Define human review standards for AI-assisted work.
Ensure AI use stays within CJIS Security Policy and company data-handling rules.
Measure the impact of AI-enabled workflows on cycle time, requirements quality, and rework.
