About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager at Walmart, you will independently lead a complex product or product family by leveraging deep customer insights, strategic vision, and technology expertise to drive significant business outcomes. You will define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that address customer needs and market opportunities. This role requires advanced data-driven decision-making, mentorship of peers, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while aligning product initiatives with organizational goals to maximize value and innovation. The team focuses on advancing Membership Personalization to drive growth, engagement, and retention for Sam's Club and Walmart+ members. Using data-driven insights and strategic product management practices, the team develops and executes product roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders ensures the delivery of impactful solutions that enhance member experiences. Responsibilities include managing the full product lifecycle and leveraging analytics and Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics to guide decision-making and optimize results. This team plays a critical role in shaping innovative membership offerings that create sustained value and support the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex products or product portfolios with a high degree of ownership, autonomy, and strategic accountability.
  • Strong expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and end-to-end product lifecycle management using data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to conduct competitive assessments, identify market opportunities, and translate insights into product strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, aligning product goals with broader business objectives.
  • Expertise in leveraging customer insights, journey mapping, and design thinking methodologies to solve complex customer and business problems.
  • Experience mentoring product managers and influencing teams without direct authority.
  • Strong technical acumen, including an understanding of system architecture, platform capabilities, and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
