This is a true build-and-lead opportunity. You own the video business end-to-end—product strategy, system architecture, vendor ecosystem, and advanced technical execution. Your mandate is clear: transform video into a scalable, high-performance, high-margin business that wins complex opportunities and delivers flawlessly in the field. You will play the lead role in defining the technical vision for our video portfolio and operate beyond the scope of traditional sales engineering or support - owning the hardest problems and setting the standard for excellence.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in commercial security, video, or related technology
  • Strong IP networking and remote connectivity
  • Proven experience designing multi-site, high-availability systems
  • Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks
  • Experience integrating video with monitoring or security platforms
  • Strong vendor management and product evaluation experience
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling technical programs
  • High ownership, strong judgment, and ability to create structure

Nice To Haves

  • Deep experience with video surveillance systems (VMS, cameras, infrastructure)
  • Experience leveraging video system data and analytics to proactively identify issues, improve performance, and enhance monitoring outcomes
  • Hands-on experience with AI-based video analytics tools and platforms
  • Experience with platforms like OpenEye, Axis, Speco, or similar
  • Remote guarding or live video monitoring experience
  • Access control or intrusion background

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a structured, repeatable video and live monitoring offering
  • Architect advanced surveillance systems for commercial and multi-site environments
  • Own and solve non-standard, high-complexity system designs
  • Establish best-in-class standards for design, deployment, and lifecycle support
  • Own, lead and optimize key vendor partnerships (OpenEye, Axis, Speco, others)
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard next-generation technology
  • Integrate AI analytics to elevate detection accuracy and response outcomes
  • Partner with Sales to win high-value, technically complex deals
  • Serve as the escalation point for the most challenging technical issues
  • Drive system reliability, performance, and scalability across the installed base
  • Reduce install friction and long-term support burden
  • Create clarity and consistency through strong documentation and standards
