About The Position

The AWS Field Experience (AFX) team is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to define and lead the strategy for services that simplify management, maintenance, and operation at scale for AWS field teams. This role involves creating products and solutions to empower sales and marketing teams, manage massive scale data, and support a large global field sales organization. The Senior Technical Product Manager will focus on developing services for AWS sellers in Tech Roles, with a significant opportunity to drive generative AI initiatives for automation, insights, and customer engagement. Responsibilities include creating and operating new services for metric collection and storage at internet scale, delivering critical field capabilities, and embedding operational knowledge. This role also offers the chance to influence broader AWS cloud strategy and potentially define future AWS products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services

Nice To Haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Responsibilities

• Engage with systems at the frontier of technology, pioneering new methods and approaches to delivering software, serving customers, and enabling large, distributed, worldwide sales teams.
• Design new products and capabilities that enable business users to operate more effectively, intelligently, and efficiently.
• Work closely with engineering and other technical product/program managers to define, build, drive and measure mechanisms to enable our field sales teams.
• Work directly with other product teams and business leaders to identify opportunities to improve AFX products, tools, data, analytics, and reporting offerings.
• Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and software to drive business decisions at scale.
