About The Position

Own product definition and execution for assigned Ethernet products across PHY, multi-PHY, NIC, or switching, contributing to the broader portfolio roadmap and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
  • 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.
  • 2+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product requirements across hardware, firmware, system architecture, and software enablement, coordinating with engineering owners to ensure cohesive silicon-to-system solutions.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning — feature definition, performance tiering, SKU options, and lifecycle milestones — under the direction of portfolio leadership.
  • Translate market and customer requirements into product requirement documents, platform software expectations, and inputs to reference architectures.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer, engaging with OEM, enterprise, and service-provider customers and partners to gather requirements, validate direction, and support design-in activity.
  • Analyze architecture-level trade-offs across performance, power, cost, programmability, and time-to-market, and present recommendations to architecture and product leadership.
  • Develop business case inputs including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, cost impacts, and revenue modeling for assigned products.
  • Support go-to-market execution with sales, marketing, and business development, including positioning content, launch readiness, customer sampling, and field enablement materials.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across silicon design, platform software, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and ecosystem partners, adapting to shifting priorities while meeting committed schedules.
  • Track product milestones, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues and proposing resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Represent assigned products in internal product reviews, customer roadmap discussions, and ecosystem engagements.
  • Share domain knowledge and provide constructive feedback to junior product managers and cross-functional partners.
