About The Position

Eaton’s Industrial Control Division is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager - Motor Control & Protection to join the team. This is a hybrid position, based at our Menomonee Falls, WI site. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. As a senior member of the Product Line Management team, the Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and business performance for our NEMA Control, IEC Control, FAZ circuit protection, and Panel Component portfolios. This role will translate market trends and customer needs into differentiated offerings, lead cross functional execution across Marketing Communications, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and serve as a key point of contact for interunit assembly partners. This role carries responsibility for pricing, value proposition development, and domestic/international product launches, and includes direct leadership of multiple product managers. The Motor Control & Protection product lines represent key businesses that support the Industrial Control Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about solving customer problems and growing sales and profitability through, superior customer experience and active promotion of differentiated products. This role will work extensively with teams across the globe and serve as a key point of contact for our interunit assembly partners using these products. This role will offer candidates a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with all facets of Eaton’s business including Marketing Communications, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience across product management, strategic/technical marketing, engineering, sales, or operations within contactors, starters, motor protection, and/or circuit protection; including 3+ years with direct ownership of product strategy/roadmaps and price management.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced technical degree (e.g., MS in Engineering, Industrial Automation)
  • Experience with UL508A panel design or industrial motor applications
  • Hands on experience developing value propositions, positioning, price strategy, and product roadmaps; successful track record of NPI/NPD.
  • Knowledge of industrial control markets, applications, and key customer segments
  • Experience collaborating across EMEA and APAC regions on Global Product Line introductions.
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams and launching products domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the multi year strategic plan and product roadmap for the Motor Control & Protection portfolios, aligned with division and enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborate with regional partners in EMEA and APAC on roadmaps and Global Product Line introductions.
  • Deliver profit plan objectives (sales, orders, share, margin, and price) and manage price realization targets.
  • Measure, analyze, and report product line performance monthly and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead global product lifecycle (VOC, competitive analysis, business cases, NPI/NPD) and coordinate domestic and international launches with supporting materials (catalogs, brochures, competitive comparisons, demos, videos, promotions).
  • Partner closely with Sales, MarCom, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance; act as a key point of contact for interunit assembly partners.
  • Co own stocked inventory levels for applicable sensor lines to achieve market required lead times.
  • Create and deliver technical sales presentations to customers and internal stakeholders; facilitate customer meetings.
  • Lead and develop team members; influence decentralized/global teams toward a unified strategy.
