Senior Product Manager II - Agreement Data Platform

Wrapbook,
$156,500 - $241,500Remote

About The Position

Wrapbook is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the Agreement Data Platform, which is central to the company's payroll engine. This platform manages union agreements, signatories, job classifications, wage tables, scale rates, and agreement rules that determine pay. It also includes operator tooling for contract administrators and client operations to define and manage this data. The role is highly leveraged, as the agreement data influences all downstream payroll calculations, from rate selection to timecard application and customer reporting. The Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring this data is accurate, configurable, governable, and scalable. They will partner with a tenured engineering team and be a key product voice across multiple payroll teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS, fintech, or similarly complex technical environment.
  • Meaningful time owning platform, infrastructure, or data-platform products.
  • Strong technical orientation; ability to reason with engineering about data models, service boundaries, integrations, and data flows.
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to independently take an idea from concept to launch.
  • Active, daily user of AI tools (LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, AI workflows) and ability to articulate how AI has changed PM work.
  • Experience owning products with high cross-team surface area.
  • Excellent written communication skills for clear, structured, decision-oriented specs and data contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to become a subject-matter expert quickly.
  • Ability to independently leverage data using tools like SQL, Pendo, Omni, or Snowflake.
  • Bias toward action, balanced with attention to compliance and quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain Expertise: payroll, fintech, or entertainment industry experience, especially with complex compliance or regulatory requirements.
  • Platform / Data-Layer Experience: owned a data model, rules engine, configuration platform, or internal-tooling-for-operators product.
  • Operator Tooling Experience: built admin panels or self-serve configuration surfaces.
  • Modularization / Service Boundaries: experience extracting a service or drawing an enforced interface boundary within a large codebase.
  • AI Builder, Not Just User: built prototypes, internal tools, or workflows using LLMs, MCPs, or AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and vision for the Agreement Data Platform, aligning customer and operator needs with company priorities.
  • Treat the data model as the product, defining new entities, attributes, and relationships as industry terms and agreement types evolve.
  • Drive the operator-led strategy by investing in admin tooling, validation, and self-service primitives for contract administrators.
  • Steward legible interfaces by defining explicit contracts (APIs, data services) and surfacing model changes early to other teams.
  • Partner closely with engineering on critical projects like migrating off the legacy job-classification model, the Lookup Service extraction, and rule explainability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with upstream and downstream teams (worker hiring, project setup, payroll calculations, reporting, client operations, labor relations) to manage boundaries and dependencies.
  • Define success metrics and use data-driven insights to prioritize and measure impact.
  • Advocate for accuracy, compliance, and traceability in pay calculations.
  • Drive execution end-to-end, from discovery through launch, with predictable delivery.
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate workflow, including discovery, analysis, writing, code comprehension, and prototyping.
